Dear Friends and Family,
In one of the few quiet moments amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, we can’t help but reflect on PEACE OUTside Campus accomplishments in 2022. The Lindsey M. Bonistall Research Fellow, RaeAnn Anderson, was able to gain momentum this year on her project “Empowering indigenous college women to stop rape: A treatment development study” after many delays due to the Corona virus in 2021. PEACE OUTside Campus is proud to have supported such an impactful and necessary study and hope you’ll
check out her project on our website. We look forward to supporting a future Lindsey M. Bonistall Research Fellowship in 2023-2024.
We are so blessed and thankful to the PEACE OUTside Campus Board of Directors, and our “Lindsey Times” editor Kari Blackburn, who committed their time and talent in 2022 in support of our mission to advocate student safety. Sadly, POC said farewell to Co-Founder, Treasure Emeritus, and best mother/grandmother ever, Sheila Cooney. Sheila joined her granddaughter and our namesake, Lindsey, in heavenly peace on August 2, 2022.
We wish you a peaceful and safe holiday season and hope you’ll take a moment to count your blessings and hug your loved ones. PEACE OUTside Campus is forever grateful for your generosity, support and friendship this year and always.
Happy Holidays!
